iMAT / ACCESS WITH INTENTION
Taste is not something you buy.
It is something you live.
iMAT is where eligible Tastemakers access small-run releases that are produced differently: with more involved materials, treatments, or production constraints. It is not required to shop public Feel Good Group products.
Applications are reviewed individually. An application can be approved, declined, or kept under review. Applying does not guarantee access to every release.
What is a Tastemaker?
Being called a Tastemaker is a strong compliment regarding a person’s influence, style, and judgment.
At its core, a Tastemaker is someone who defines, predicts, or shapes what is popular, desirable, or aesthetically high-quality within a specific domain—whether design, technology, food and beverage, apparel, culture, or lifestyle.
- Curatorial authority. A Tastemaker has a refined, discerning eye or palate. People trust their standards and look to what they wear, use, build, eat, or recommend as a benchmark for quality.
- Trendsetting ahead of the curve. Rather than following mainstream trends, a Tastemaker naturally spots or adopts ideas, aesthetics, and innovations early. Others look to them to see what may be coming next.
- Cultural and commercial influence. A Tastemaker’s preferences create a ripple effect. When they endorse a brand, concept, product, or place, it can validate its value and influence how others perceive and adopt it.
- Authenticity and distinction. Tastemakers stand out because they hold a distinct, consistent creative vision or personal point of view that feels deliberate, high-contrast, and uncompromising in its standards.
In short, a Tastemaker does not only consume culture or design. A Tastemaker actively helps set its standard.
Tastemaker access is reviewed. It is not automatic, it is not sold, and it is not required to shop Curtain or other public Feel Good Group products.
